In June 2025, DEME representatives visited Varna, Bulgaria to meet with our current crew and interview new candidates who were interested in joining the team.
The meetings took place on 4th and 5th June 2024 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Varna. We had great conversations with our Bulgarian and Ukrainian seafarers, and the debriefings were very helpful for everyone involved.
Several strong candidates were selected and are now set to become part of the DEME family.
As part of the visit, on 5th July 2024, the DEME team also had the opportunity to visit the Naval Academy in Varna. They enjoyed a short tour and had a chance to see some of the Academy's impressive facilities
It was a great visit with positive results, strengthened partnerships and a successful outcome for all!
